The subsidies are intended for the purchase and installation of new generation facilities for the generation of electricity from renewable energy sources (RES) and energy storage facilities that are attached to these installations. The focus is on photovoltaic plants of various types, including free-standing ones, those for covering parking lots and cultural and protective facilities. Support is also available for energy storage facilities, which allow better use of the electricity produced.
For micro and small enterprises, the subsidy can cover up to 65% of the costs, for medium-sized enterprises up to 55%, and large enterprises can easily calculate up to 45% of the grant. The maximum amount of aid is capped at EUR 25 million per project.
